Telegram mobile app offers you two different options for dealing with downloads. Automatic Media Download and Save to Gallery.<\/p>\n

Auto Media Download:<\/strong> This one downloads the files but makes them accessible only on the app. You won’t find the auto downloads in the Gallery or Files app.<\/p>\n

Save to Gallery\/Save Photos:<\/strong> Save to Gallery on Android or Save Incoming Photos on iPhone are the same feature. This feature directly saves the downloaded media files in the Gallery or Photos app.<\/p>\n

Where to Find Telegram Downloaded Files on Android?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

To find the Telegram downloaded files, you need to make sure that the Save to Gallery or Auto Download feature is enabled. If you don’t know whether it’s enabled or how to enable, here’s what you need to do.<\/p>\n

1. Launch the Telegram app on your Android phone.<\/p>\n

2. When the app opens, tap the hamburger<\/strong> menu<\/strong> at the top right of the screen and select Settings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

2. Next, tap on the Photo and tap the three dots<\/strong> at the top right corner.<\/p>\n

Where to Find Telegram Downloaded files on iPhone?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

If the Save To Photos feature is enabled on the Telegram app for iPhone, the downloaded Telegram photos will be found in the Photos app for iPhone.<\/p>\n

To use this feature, you must ensure the Save To Photos feature is enabled on the app. Here’s how.<\/p>\n

1. Launch the Telegram app on your iPhone. Next, tap the Settings<\/strong> at the bottom of the screen.<\/p>\n

1. Open the Telegram app on your iPhone and select the chat containing the media file you want to download.<\/p>\n

2. Tap the Photo or Video that you want to save.<\/p>\n

3. Next, tap the three dots<\/strong> at the top right and select Save Image<\/strong> or Save Video<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Open the Files app on your iPhone and navigate to the Document<\/strong> folder. In this folder, you will find the saved files. If there’s no Document folder, you may have saved the files in a different location.<\/p>\n

Where to Find Telegram Downloaded Files on PC?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

On PC, you don’t get any auto download or save to gallery feature. The only way to download files from the Telegram desktop is to manually save them. Here’s how.<\/p>\n

1. Open the Telegram desktop client app.<\/p>\n

2. Open the conversation containing the file you want to save.<\/p>\n
