Popular open-source Nintendo Switch emulator<\/a> Ryujinx has been officially pulled offline after Nintendo approached its lead developer with an agreement to stop working on the project.<\/p>\n

While the agreement reportedly made between Nintendo and the Ryujinx creator is unknown, another fellow developer, \u2018rip in peri peri\u2019 on the project, announced the news on the Ryujinx Discord<\/a> server, as well as on Ryujinx’s X\/Twitter account:<\/p>\n

“Yesterday, [Ryujinx creator] gdkchan was contacted by Nintendo and offered an agreement to stop working on the project, remove the organization and all related assets he’s in control of,” rip in peri peri posted on the\u00a0Ryujinx Discord<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“While awaiting confirmation on whether he would take this agreement, the organization has been removed, so I think it’s safe to say what the outcome is. Rather than leave you with only panic and speculation, I decided to write this short message to give some closure.”<\/p>\n
