This capability allows users to upload a static image, type in a quick prompt, and watch it transform into animated eight-second video clips with sound \u2014 perfect for social media posts or presentations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis means you can upload a product shot, or company stock photography, and use a text prompt to create animated video clips with native audio that are aligned with your brand,\u201d Google <a href=\"https:\/\/workspace.google.com\/blog\/product-announcements\/create-and-edit-videos-with-gen-ai-in-google-vids\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow noreferrer\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">wrote<\/a> in a blog post on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"? This feature, which is generally available, enables users to generate videos by writing a script and picking an avatar, without the need for live recording. The \u201ctranscript trim\u201d feature automatically removes filler words like \u201cum\u201d and \u201cah,\u201d and awkward pauses with just a few clicks, helping creators skip tedious manual edits.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Editing made easy with transcript trim and balance sound\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/L568fOoCj38?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Coming next month, Vids will also roll out features including noise cancellation, backgrounds, filters, and appearance enhancements, just like the ones in Google Meet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>More Formats, More Access<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Responding to user feedback, Google says Vids will soon support portrait, landscape, and square formats, making it easier to create videos tailored for different platforms. This feature will be generally available next quarter.<\/p>\n<p>Access is also expanding. In addition to Workspace Business, Enterprise Starter, AI Pro, or Ultra subscribers and education customers, Google has also launched a basic, free version of Vids for all Google account holders.
